Holy Cow is a Sunday morning Kid’s Church event at St Luke’s Church, St Albans.
Aimed at kids aged 3-10, it takes place every six weeks or so, and includes craft, drama, music, storytelling and games.
The next one is coming up on Sunday 7th July 2024, which will be a pancake party.
Arrive from 9.30am for snacks, and we’ll kick off at 10am.
Our regular morning service for grown-ups happens at the same time from 10am in the main church downstairs.
Any queries, please let us know.
do you have kids’ groups the rest of the time?
Yes we do! During term we always have groups for kids aged 5-12 during our 10am service. Either that, or it’s an all-together service which is specially designed with all ages in mind.
why is it called “holy cow”?
A flying cow is an ancient symbol of St Luke.
Also, our church is built on an old dairy farm.
And we liked it.
